Questions people ask
Which lane is mine?
If you run your own practice and have no EHR to connect, Solo Practice. If your practice, agency or billing company already runs OpenEMR or another FHIR R4 EHR, Connect Your EHR. Not sure? The Getting Started page walks through both.
How does pricing work for a group or agency?
Three parts: a one-time setup fee, a modest monthly hosting and maintenance fee, and a monthly fee per practitioner seat. Support staff seats are free. The amounts depend on your EHR, your team and who runs EMRFlow for you, so we quote them on a short call. Many practices get EMRFlow through their billing company, which sets its own terms. You can pilot at no cost while we connect you.
What are claim credits?
Each approved visit that EMRFlow posts back to OpenEMR as a draft billing encounter uses one credit. Credits come in packs, bought when you need them, with no monthly minimum; pack pricing is part of your quote. Posting back is available for OpenEMR today; other FHIR R4 EHRs get the documentation and the sync, not the posting.
Do therapists working under a billing company pay?
No. The practice or billing company holds the seats under one agreement signed for the whole organization. Therapists sign in with the account the practice creates.
Will a Solo plan price change on me?
Solo plans are month to month. If a Solo plan price ever changes, early adopters keep the rate they signed up at. Group and agency terms are set in your agreement.
Prices in US dollars. Solo plan details, limits and the full feature comparison are on the Solo Practice page. EMRFlow is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by the OpenEMR project.
